I love it when modern design and fashion collide. Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann House was Derek Lam’s inspiration for his Spring 2012 line. The inspiration is evident in the softly structured looks, the amazing color pallet of neutrals with sky blue, sun yellow and desert pinks and oranges. His program notes mentioned ”mid-century louche and luxury”, which these clothes and accessories wholeheartedly evoke.
