Which would you rather?
I’d have to go with the Alice & Olivia booties. I can’t get past the sheer stocking look of the Bottega Veneta booties. Plus I love that haircalf lazer cutting.

I was just in an Ann Taylor store for the first time in ages, and I was bowled over! The company has been repositioned and I really liked “Meeting the New Ann”. I was incredibly impressed by a new crop of dresses, skirts and tops that look fresh, exciting and yes, a bit sexy. Nothing like my idea of Ann Taylor (which was staid and boring). I am head over heels for these Leandra Shooties.

In the past I’ve had problems with the fit of Robert Clergerie shoes. However, that does not seem to be a deterrent for my love of them. For Fall ‘11, French fashion house CARVEN has teamed up with Monsieur Clergerie and I adore these caramel platform ”Ursule” wedge with their lovely contrasting black trim and pinking details.

These shoes are classicly stunning. The color, the cut, the heel…I’m head over Loubus!

I know it’s spring(ish) going on summer (okay, not really…) but these Kron shoes are so wonderful that I can’t stop flipping through the pictures on the Kronkron site. The mix of patent, suede and leather, and one of my absolute favorite color combinations (purple and green) are making these nearly irresistible.

I can’t stop looking at these Chewing-Gum heels from Kobi Levi. They crack me up, fascinate me, and tickle my surrealist funny bone all at the same time. Levi’s blog has some awesome (and frankly, NSFW) designs.

Finding a pair of affordable color block sandals that are relatively neutral is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But it can be done! Behold, Asos Headline Platform Buckle Sandals. I am really diggin’ that cool snap buckle. And the colors are all neutral, the soft tan, the warm gray, the muted periwinkle all grounded by the chunky black heel. At $98.62 I’ve found a winner.

There is a serious spring party going on over at Irregular Choice! While bunny buttons may not be the most practical thing going, I can’t resist the pops of color on the black suede coupled with the pink polka dots and wallpaper floral. And that lucite carved heel? Yes! I’d wear them with a pair of cropped pants and a tailored shirt.
